LeBron James calls the NBA's plan to have an All-Star game a "slap in the face"

Is LeBron's main objection that he would prefer NBA veterans like himself get the time off or is it a safety issue? Maybe it's a bit of both. Also recall that LeBron didn't like the quick turnaround from the NBA Finals to this season, so maybe there is still some resentment there.

Celtics guard Kemba Walker who not surprisingly said he's not expecting a selection this time around, was one player who this afternoon agreed with LeBron's sentiments:
