Pelicans trade CJ McCollum to Wizards in four player swap

The New Orleans Pelicans and Washington Wizards completed a trade today swapping shooting guards CJ McCollum abd Jordan Poole. The Wizards will also receive former Celtics big Kelly Olynyk and a future second rounder while the Pelicans will also add forward Saddiq Bey and the 40th pick in tomorrow's NBA Draft.

Since CJ McCollum will be on an expiring contract this is a pretty good get for the Wizards as he could be flipped. The Wizards also get off of Poole's contract. A bit of an odd move for the Pelicans since I don't think Poole is what they needed and don't love the fit with Dejounte Murray and Zion Williamson. He's younger than CJ, but not a fan.
