Coronavirus death hits the NBA as Karl-Anthony Towns loses his mother

Very sad news to share as Karl-Anthony Towns has lost his mother to the coronavirus after a long battle. Back on March 25th, Towns shared that his mother was in a medically induced coma and had been placed on a ventilator due to the virus. His father also had the virus, but has improved. Towns's mother Jacqueline Cruz-Towns was 58. Thoughts and prayers to KAT and his family right now during this grieving time.

Ms. Jackie was an angel and we were blessed to have her in our lives. I cannot imagine the heartbreak that @KarlTowns and Karl Sr. are going through right now but my hope is we can lift them up during this time and get them through this with our thoughts and prayers.
