Celtics hold off Bucks for 5th straight win

The Celtics used a strong second half to beat the pesky Bucks 89-83 in Milwaukee.  Paul Pierce led Boston with 23 points and Nenad Krstic continued his solid play with 17 points, 12 in the first quarter. Jeff Green had another great game as well and continues to impress me on both ends.  Rondo had a rare off game with as many turnovers(8) as assists. I'll allow a bad game every now and then.

For the Bucks, Brandon Jennings led the way with 23 points but took some really bad shots. He's an exciting player to watch but is probably the type of guy that puts up big numbers because he is on a bad team.  Mbah a Moute had a solid game with 19 points. I think every team needs a scrappy player like him.

Overall a solid win for the Celtics. Boston is now a perfect 5-0 with their new additions. While they haven't beaten any world beaters, it is still impressive they've played so well so quickly. I would like to see Troy Murphy get more minutes so he can step up his production a little. Hopefully we can blow out the Clippers Wednesday and get Murphy and Pavlovic some extended minutes. Next game 7:30 Wednesday night against the Blake Griffin's.
