Documentary on Arenas and Crittenton locker room gun incident debuts next week

In December of 2009, when Celtics Life was just two months old Washington Wizards guards Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton were involved in a incident where both players brought guns into the locker room over a gambling dispute. The incident led to season-long suspensions for both players.

Arenas would go on to get traded to the Orlando Magic, fizzle out of the league, and now drops horrible takes on his podcast. Crittenton was sentenced to 23 years in prison for pleading guilty to manslaughter in the 2011 shooting death of a mother of four, but it was later reduced to 10 years. and he was released from prison in April of 2023.
