Sorry, but not a fan of the Celtics new jerseys
The Celtics will be debuting a new City Edition uniform in tomorrow night's season opener. And while of course I love any time that the Celtics pay tribute to the great Bill Russell, I'm really not feeling the Bucks' green of these jerseys. This is the second straight year the Celtics have tried to make a jersey with Bucks' forest green instead of the traditional Celtics' kelly green.

• 11 gold diamonds on the sides of the uniform, signifying the number of championships Russell won

Despite being the home team, the Celtics will be wearing these jerseys tomorrow when they host the 76ers. In recent years the NBA has moved further and further from team's wearing their home whites. This is partly to showcase all the new alternate jerseys in front of thousands of would be potential buyers at the TD Garden where the jerseys are also sold.
Why is forest green a color now? 🤦♂️ https://t.co/i9eh5HKumC

This concept jersey would have been the one I'd have chosen https://t.co/WOWUi5I7yW pic.twitter.com/byEGqvHIbZ
