Payton Pritchard reportedly will start for Celtics with Anfernee Simons serving as 6th man

The Boston Celtics still haven't conducted an introductory press conference for Anfernee Simons. Don't expect to see Simons in Boston in an official Celtics presser until media day in early Fall. And that's if the high scoring former Blazer guard is still a Celtic by then.

Brad Stevens has reportedly been unsuccessful in his attempts to reroute Simons to a new team like he did with Georges Niang. If that remains the case, Simons is projected to come off the bench for Boston this season, with reigning NBA 6th Man of the Year Payton Pritchard expected to join Derrick White in the starting backcourt.
