Ime Udoka records his first coaching win, Celtics defeat Rockets 107-97

The Celtics played this one without Jaylen Brown, but Jayson Tatum and the rest of the crew were still too much for rookie Jalen Green and the Rockets.

After coming close to his first win in the season opener vs the Knicks, and then dealing with a horrible home opener, Ime Udoka secures his first win as an NBA head coach. Congrats Coach!

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 31 points and 9 rebounds. Dennis Schroder had 18 points in his first Celtics start, while Grant Williams had 18 of his own off the bench.

Al Horford had another solid game with a double double. Jalen Green had 30 points in the losing effort for the Rockets. So everyone was happy. Celtics got the win, which they wanted, while the tanking Rockets pick up a loss and see some star potential from their rook.

Celtics are back in action tomorrow night versus the exciting Charlotte Hornets.
