Celtics play Wizards, Celtics lose to Wizards; Rinse and Repeat

Jalen Brown led the Celtics with a team high 34 points, while Jayson Tatum added an inefficient 27, but the Celtics still fell to the Wizards once again in double overtime. The Final was Washington 115-112.

Bradley Beal paced the Wizards with a game high 36 points. The Celtics shot 1 for 13 the final 8 and half minutes of the game which led to them not being able to hokd onto the lead for the win in OT and then failing in double overtime.

Josh Richardson had his best game of the season contriubuting 18 points off the bench. This was the Celtics second straight loss to the Wizards and the team now stands at 2-4 on the young season.

Coach Udoka says of our defensive improvements, “It was night and day effort-wise from the other day.” It was just an unlucky night shooting-wise.
