Tatum and Brown combine for 59 as Celtics hold off Wizards comeback attempt and prevail 116-107
The Washington Wizards made things interesting in the 4th quarter, but in the end the Boston Celtics thwarted their rally and won their 4th straight. Jayson Tatum lead the Celtics with 32 points, while fellow Jay brother Jaylen Brown added 27 points of his own to go with 13 big rebounds. Tatum's Saint Louis' "big brother" Bradley Beal finished with a game high 41 points for the Wizards.
Semi Ojeleye had a team high +23, while fan favorite Tacko Fall made an impact with 4 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks. The Celtics improve to 7-3 while the Wizards fall (no relation to Tacko) to a disappointing 2-7. The latter has added importance, since the worse the Wizards fare the first half of the season the more likely Beal could be made available in a trade at the deadline.Former MVP Russell Westbrook gets Tacko Stuffed by Fall in the 1st quarter. @celticsvoice & @scalabrine with the call.
