Marcus Smart to be sidelined 2 to 3 weeks, confident Celtics will hold down the fort in his absence
I'm sure Marcus Smart was happy to hear that his leg injury turned out to be only a grade 1 calf strain after an MRI was taken this morning. The Celtics will be without their do everything guard for the next 2 to 3 weeks. Once he returns from his own injury, Payton Pritchard could assume some of those Marcus minutes.
Here’s what I learned today: something called a gastrocnemius exists. pic.twitter.com/x95LjNykzd

Other questions remain, like who will start in Marcus' place? Are the Celtics now more likely to pull the trigger on a TPE target like J.J. Redick or Aaron Gordon? Maybe a different Aaron, Nesmith to be exact steps up. Could Romeo Langford return in time to get some run in Smart's place?π be back in no timeπ
