Celtics will be short as three bigs are in 7-day quarantine
Get ready for some 40+ minute nights Daniel Theis! With Tristan Thompson, Grant Williams, and Robert Williams all out for a week the Celtics are going to be forced to play small ball. Semi Ojeleye will also be tasked with manning the middle, while expect this fan favorite to not only get his first playing time of the season, but possibly quite a bit.#NEBHInjuryReport update:

Carsen Edwards - AVAILABLE
Tristan Thompson (Health & Safety Protocols) - OUT
Grant Williams (Health & Safety Protocols) - OUT
Robert Williams (Health & Safety Protocols) - OUT https://t.co/wr8MkDqTQh
Also expect some line-ups with no bigs where Jayson Tatum is the de facto center. Should be interesting, but in today's NBA with less emphasis on bigs, barring any additional players having to sit out, the Celtics should be fine for a week.
Robert Williams tested positive for COVID-19 which caused this domino effect.
Per source, Grant Williams and Tristan Thompson, who were wearing masks at the time, sat next to Robert Williams on the bench for at least 15 minutes - thus their need to quarantine for a minimum of seven days. Robert Williams is asymptomatic despite his positive test.
