Gordon Hayward's status upgraded prior to Game 2
Well ok then. Finally some light at the end of the tunnel. Brad Stevens last week stated that Gordon Hayward wasn't close to returning, but after completeing quarantine and a few light practices he's now been upgraded from OUT to DOUBTFUL. Next step is the jump to PROBABLE. Not a betting man, but my guess is there's only like a 5% chance he'll play in Game 2, whereas maybe a 50% chance he'll be avaialbe for Game 3. Monday's Game 4 seems like a realistic date to expect him back. The addition of Hayward will be huge for the Celtics who deperatley need one more key guy in the rotation. Hayward suffered a Grade 3 ankle sprain one month ago. He was given a 4 to 6 week expect timetable for his return.
