Aron Baynes to miss a month with broken hand

Boston Celtics center Aron Baynes is poised to miss a month of games, having broken his hand early in Wednesday night's tilt with the Phoenix Suns.

The Australian big man has been an important part of Boston's rotation since joining the team last season, and the Cs will miss his imposing inside presence, especially against teams able to deploy old-school bigs.

Mercifully, the injury doesn't seem to involve any ligament damage, which can complicate these kinds of injuries.
With the frontcourt depth having already taken a hit with veteran big Al Horford resting to recover from tendonitis and Marcus Morris dealing with the same, fans of Robert "Timelord" Williams, Daniel Theis, and Guerschon Yabusele will likely get more of their respective players on the court in coming weeks - until then, we wish Aron a speedy recovery.
