Isaiah Thomas fourth in All-Star voting so far among guards, Avery Bradley tenth

The NBA just released the most recent All-Star voting tallies and so far no Celtic is poised to start the mid-season match.

Here are the numbers as they stand right now:

Isaiah sits in fourth behind Kyrie Irving, Dwyane Wade, and DeMar DeRozan. He's within clawing distance of DWade for the starting spot, but Kyrie is well out of reach as of right now. Avery Bradley is also seeing some recognition sitting in tenth place for the time being.

No other Celtics are among the top ten in their positions.

For me, I don't mind Irving and DeRozan standing above Isaiah. I think IT deserves the starting spot more than the Raptors guard, but with it being the first tally I think he'll earn some more votes and might pull ahead of him. The guy that absolutely doesn't belong at TWO is Dwyane Wade.

For comparison:

Isaiah Thomas: 27.8 PTS, 2.1 REB, 6.4 AST, 45.3% FG%. Boston Celtics are 21-14.
DeMar DeRozan: 27.5 PTS, 5.0 REB, 3.5 AST, 41.3% FG%. Toronto Raptors are 23-11.
Dwyane Wade: 18.5 PTS, 4.1 REB, 3.7 AST, 43.3% FG%. Chicago Bulls are 18-18.

Seriously, guys? I understand DWade has been a star for longer but if the All-Star game is about purely entertainment, Isaiah is easily a more exciting player to watch. Then at least DeMar has some insane athleticism.

I wonder if this will put *another* chip on IT's shoulder after he was snubbed for December player-of-the-month honors for John Wall.

If you want to vote for any Celtic, there are tons of ways to vote. Find out how at this link and start sending in your daily ballots.
