Celtics release preseason schedule; includes trip to Italy, very few local games

The Celtics 2015 preseason slate will begin on October 6, in Milan:


Once the C's come back stateside, they play their traditional two home games at the TD Garden, and as usual face only opponents within their division.  Because of the Euro-trip, Boston won't visit many of its customary exhibition locations around New England, such as Mohegan Sun, the D-League Maine Red Claws' home in Portland, the XL Center in Hartford and the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence.

The Celtics also miss out on the Toronto Raptors this preseason, which I'm sure will devastate many fans up north.
