Big Papi jumps in to recruit Kevin Love to Boston


While many Boston sports fans and Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo have already begun to roll out the welcome wagon for Kevin Love, the Red Sox's 2013 World Series MVP David Ortiz has also jumped on board to help recruit Love to Beantown. And Big Papi knows a thing or two about coming to Boston from Minnesota, as he played for the Twins before arriving at Fenway:

Let's hope Love takes up Big Papi on that offer. Ortiz has been known to socialize with Celtics players in the past (such as the Celtics' infamous Halloween party in 2010), so I'm sure he'd love the company of another All-Star to hang out with, especially after the departure of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.
