Day two of training camp today is in the books for the Celtics from gorgeous Newport, RI and head coach Brad Stevens had some interesting things to say about forward Jeff Green:
Brad Stevens said Jeff Green has "had his ups and downs." Really the first time Stevens hasn't fully praised someone.

Not really a criticism per say, but for the coach who hasn’t had a negative thing to say about anybody it’s kind of interesting. Now to the juicier tid-bits, Stevens also talked about Green’s potential to be playing another position this year:
Brad Stevens just told the media that Jeff Green will see minutes at shooting guard this season.

Wow… bold strategy Cotton, talk about a big lineup depending on who you fill the rest of the positions in with. Green definitely is athletic enough to play shooting guard for sure; I don’t hate this idea at all especially while Rondo recovers. It would create some serious mismatches for him to take advantage.
