Celtics recall Fab Melo from D-League (Update: Don't get excited)
Celtics announce they've recalled Fab Melo from D-League's Maine Red Claws. Averaged 10.9 ppg, 6.9 rpg and 3.8 bpg for Red Claws

Fab Melo has been tearing up the D-League. Ainge made it clear that he thought that was the best place for him to stay right now. Granted, that was before the Celtics got blown out in three straight games. For what it's worth, Melo said the same thing.
Still, it's unlikely this is a sign that Melo could see playing time in the NBA. Kris Joseph has been called up from Maine a million times, and this isn't the first time Melo's been called up either. Melo also sustained a concussion so this could be the complete motivation for the move:
#NBA D-League deal quirk - players must be recalled to parent club to receive staff treatment. Fab Melo move w/ #Celtics may be just that.

(UPDATE)
And here's the confirmation for that:
Getting called up to check on my concussion. I will probably be back with the #Redclaws this Friday.
