Ok now this is getting a bit ridiculous - Fab Melo puts up 32/9/9 for Red Claws


So, umm, this just happened. Again.



Of course it's only been four days since Melo went all kinds of crazy with his 15 point, 16 rebound 14 block performance. Tonight Fab decided to take it easy on the Idaho Stampede I guess, blocking a mere 9 shots. However he made up for it by posting 32 points (on 12-21 shooting from the field and 8-9 shooting from the line) and this time, the Red Claws won.

The Celts are now 2-1 with Jason Collins in the starting line-up, and I trust Doc when he says that Fab is not quite ready for the big leagues. But damn. There's only so long you can ignore stat lines like this, right?

It's important to note that Melo got off to a slow start over his first 7 games in Maine, averaging 7 points, 5.5 boards and 2 blocks a game. But over the last two (small sample I know) the dude is averaging 23.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 11.5 blocks a game. I repeat, the man is averaging 11.5 blocks per g!ada$dc%n*dc

Sorry my brain just exploded.

One thing I know? If Fab keeps this absurdity up, he will get a look sooner rather than later. Sorry Jason.
