Celtics trounce Hawks, 129-108



The Celtics won their eighth straight game Friday Night, as they handled the visiting Atlanta Hawks 129-108. With the W the C's improved to 18-10 on the season.



Boston outscored Atlanta 42-19 in the first quarter before letting the Hawks creep back into the game in the second quarter.

The Celts were powered by Kyrie Irving who posted 24 points, while dishing out five assists and grabbing five rebounds. Jayson Tatum added 22 points while Marcus Morris contributed 20 points for the C's including six makes from deep:



Celtics' rookie Robert Williams, added five blocks and five rebounds as the youngn' again contributed in his much needed role off the bench as Al Horford nurses a knee injury:



Boston travels to the Motor City Saturday night to take on Blake Griffin and the Detroit Pistons.
