Danny doesn't expect any major changes at the deadline

"I don't know (what will happen before the deadline)," Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said Wednesday morning on 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich show. "We're opportunistic. There's a lot of different things that can happen...

But I think there's not teams that are looking to make those kinds of major changes, is my perspective right now heading into this trade deadline. So I'm not sure what may happen.

It is an odd moment in the NBA for the trade deadline. With so many contending teams in the West, and there being such a distinguished line between the contenders and the pretenders in the East, it's hard to see where the major changes will be save for the possibility of Goran Dragic being moved.

My personal hope is that a contending team finally comes to their senses, and realizes that Brandon Bass could benefit their team more than a future second round pick.
