Hawks owner: "Garnett is the dirtiest guy in the league"

“On top of all that, we don’t get any calls, which I know everybody always hears. But I’ll give you a stat. Last night, we are playing this old physical team. They are old. I know what happens when you play basketball, old guys foul. [Kevin] Garnett is the dirtiest guy in the league. We are playing Boston last night and they had two fouls the whole first half. We had five times that and we’re athletic.”

Nothing new about whining over not getting foul calls. I feel like 90% of people think their team is getting screwed and David Stern hates them. (Celtics Life reader Troy Gates points out that the Celtics and Hawks have each been called for 99 fouls through the first 5 games of the series, so Hawks owner Micheal Geron Jr. really has no case.) Calling KG dirty though? When did I hear that before? Oh yeah just last week from the Hawks scrub journeyman big man Ivan Johnson. KG used it as motivation and the C's won 3 games in a row. So one has to wonder how bright this Gearon Jr. is to motivate KG once again. Then again he is the guy that gave Joe Johnson that bloated long term contract.
