Doc Rivers Purchases Penthouse at the Four Seasons

While players and owners are arguing over money in the lockout negotiations, Doc Rivers decided to drop quite a few dollars of his own on a new place. According to Boston.com, Doc purchased a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom penthouse at the Four Seasons in Boston:

Now that Doc Rivers will be in Boston for the foreseeable future - he signed a five-year, $35 million contract back in May - the Celts coach needs a nice place to crash. Well, he’s found one. Rivers, who previously rented at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, has purchased a penthouse at the Four Seasons Hotel. The well-compensated coach just closed on his new pad, paying $2.2 million for the 2-bed, 2.5-bath spread.

I guess that means Doc is on board with staying in Boston for a while. Maybe the second bedroom could be for Austin if he joins the NBA and dons Celtics green in the future.
