Doc Rivers Purchases Penthouse at the Four Seasons
While players and owners are arguing over money in the lockout negotiations, Doc Rivers decided to drop quite a few dollars of his own on a new place. According to Boston.com, Doc purchased a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom penthouse at the Four Seasons in Boston:
I guess that means Doc is on board with staying in Boston for a while. Maybe the second bedroom could be for Austin if he joins the NBA and dons Celtics green in the future.
Now that Doc Rivers will be in Boston for the foreseeable future - he signed a five-year, $35 million contract back in May - the Celts coach needs a nice place to crash. Well, he’s found one. Rivers, who previously rented at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, has purchased a penthouse at the Four Seasons Hotel. The well-compensated coach just closed on his new pad, paying $2.2 million for the 2-bed, 2.5-bath spread.
