Jayson Tatum on Larry Bird: "He's the ultimate Celtic so it was an honor to meet him"

It has to be a pretty special moment for as big a celebrity as Jayson Tatum is to become starstruck, but that was the case Sunday night when he met Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird. The NBA was able to convince Bird, who much prefers avoiding the limelight, to come out for Sunday's festivities in his native Indiana, which in turn gave Tatum a chance to finally meet him.

Jayson Tatum says this was the first time he’s ever met Larry Bird and he admits he was a bit starstruck. “I’ve got some juice flowing for the game now.”
