Celtics Conclude 3-0 Road Trip With an Emphatic Win in Miami
The Boston Celtics blew out the Miami Heat 143-110 on Thursday night in Miami.
Boston's huge win can be credited to some solid play on both ends of the court, but especially on offense, as the C's shot 64% from the field and 55% from long range.
It wasn't all great, though, as Kristaps Porzingis had to exit the game with a left ankle sprain. He did return to the bench later on and was walking around, so it appears that KP avoided any serious injury.
143 points is one of the Celtics' best outputs of the season thus far, as they were in rhythm straight from the jump.
Jayson Tatum led the way for the C's with 26 points and 8 rebounds but he wasn't alone, as 7 different guys cracked double-figures in the scoring column.
I can't say enough good things about Jrue Holiday, as he had another outstanding game with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists on 7/8 shooting. He also remains the top marksman in the NBA from the corners, knocking down 3/4 from deep with 2 coming from the corner pocket.
This game should serve as a message to both Celtic and Heat fans that this isn't the same Celtics team from years past that has come up short.Final score tonight:

Having Porzingis inside against Miami to slow down Bam while also forcing him to guard on the perimeter would be a huge advantage should Boston see Miami in the playoffs this year.
Congratulations to Jayson Tatum on being selected to his 5th career All-Star game as a starter for the Eastern Conference. The reserves will be announced next Tuesday, as Jaylen Brown is pretty much a lock to be in Indianapolis for All-Star weekend as well. Fingers crossed for D-White and KP.The Celtics shooting tonight:

The Celtics next game will be Saturday against the Clippers at TD Garden. Go Celtics!
