Another coach fired, but at least this one's team had a lousy record

Earlier this week the Milwaukee Bucks, owners of the NBA's second best record this season, fired head coach Adrian Griffin, halfway through his first season as their head coach. Doc Rivers has been hired to be their new head coach.

Today the talentless Washington Wizards fired head coach Wes Unseld Jr, the son of their former star player, coach, and executive. The Wizards at 7-36 have the second worst record in the NBA this season. Winchester, Massachusetts' own Brian Keefe will move from an assistant coach's spot to the head one, presumably for the remainder of the year.

Unseld Jr. will move up to the front office, but not in a Brad Stevens way where he will now call the shots. Definitely a major demotion or potentially even a way for Washington to not be paying a fired coach for nothing. Unseld Jr. was a highly touted assistant coach, but in two and half seasons in Washington the team failed to win.
