Celtics Survive in an Overtime Thriller Against Detroit

The Detroit Pistons have officially lost 28 consecutive games following their loss to the Celtics Thursday night at TD Garden. Boston's 128-122 victory came after trailing by as much as 21 in the 1st half, which is their biggest comeback win of the year thus far.

Tonight's win takes Boston's home record to 15-0 in 2023-24, just 2 shy of the team record for most home wins in a row to start a season. The Celtics are now 24-6 and still hold the NBA's best record.
The Celtics were led by Kristaps Porzingis (35 Pts, 8 Reb), who produced his highest-scoring output as a Celtic.

Jayson Tatum struggled from the field but did impact the game with some terrific defense and a near triple-double (31 Pts, 10 Reb, 7 Ast, 5 Stl).

Derrick White played fantastic in the 4th quarter and OT, scoring 16 of his 23 points in crunch time.
As ugly as that game was, it was impressive that the guys were able to get the win after falling behind by 20-plus. Every game offers something different, and it's good to see the team find new ways to win as the season progresses.

The Celtics next game will be tomorrow night against the Raptors at TD Garden.

Don't forget to Vote for our guys to be in the All-Star Game. Go Celtics!
