Paul Pierce tweets support for Ja Morant, says he carried a gun himself after 2000 stabbing

Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce who almost lost his life due to a stabbing back in 2000 tweeted his support to Ja Morant early Sunday morning. Morant who has been linked to several damaging off the court issues of late, was suspended indefinitely following an Instagram video he posted this weekend of him brandishing a gun.

There has been some talk that Morant could serve a lengthy suspension if it is determined that he had the gun with him on a team flight and/or the locker room. Morant's incidents don't really scream "He's carying a gun for self defense" as Paul personally compares it to his own life. For his part, Morant himself has said he's going to take this time to work on his mental.
