Danny Ainge hires Ime Udoka's lead assistant coach Will Hardy as the Utah Jazz' new head coach
It will be a five year deal for Will Hardy. The Celtics are reportedly looking to fill Hardy's seat from within. Personally I'd prefer Udoka to add some seasoned ex NBA coach in that open spot instead. Will Hardy and the Jazz are finalizing a five-year contract to make him the franchise's next coach, sources tell ESPN. Hardy, 34, will be the youngest active coach in the NBA. https://t.co/uISUNbadGJ

Udoka did a great job his first season motivating the team and getting them to buy in together on defense, but the X's and O's, especially down the stretch of games could have been tighter. No shame in having a veteran assistant. A Larry Brown type if you will (or this was like 8 years ago).
Congrats to Will Hardy!
Couldn’t be happier for my guy! Extremely deserving https://t.co/CQPEGFtPDg
