Welcome to Boston Matt Ryan

The Celtics converted Sam Hauser's two-way contract to a regular contract following the exodus of several Celtics players at the trade deadline. That gave the Celtics an open two-way contract, and on Monday they used it on 24 year old sharp shooter Matt Ryan.

Ryan, who played at Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, and Chattanooga went undrafted in the 2000 NBA Draft. Don't expect Ryan to get much playing time this season for the Celtics, with the exception of the final week of the season when teams often rest most of their rotation players.
