Video: Get to know the newest Celtics player, Justin Jackson!
The Boston Celtics used a hardship exception to sign the former #15 pick in the 2017 NBA draft Justin Jackson today. The former Tar Heel started 41 games as a rookie for the Sacramento Kings, but has bounced around the league with Mavs, Thunder, and Bucks since then.
The 26 year old Jackson was most recently playing in the G League. Jackson is a career 32% shooter on 3's. He will be expected to give the Celtics forward depth the next 10 days as they deal with several players being out.
We have signed forward Justin Jackson from the @TexasLegends to a 10-day contract.
