Woj: Celtics had "emotional" and "not terribly productive" players only meeting
Man, not sure who leaked what went down in a closed doors players only meeting, but they didn't have much to say in terms of positivity to Adrian Wojnarowski. Woj said the meeting didn't appear to be "beneficial." The Celtics followed up the players only meeting with a win over the young Orlando Magic tonight.
Veteran center Al Horford did his best to get the media to move on from the story following the Magic game.
Al Horford, in postgame walk-off with @tvabby, on Boston’s players-only meeting: "All good. We’re going to be fine. It’s a long season. Guys are competitive. We want to win.”

UPDATE: Meeting was reportedly less spontaneous than it first reported by the media.

Jaylen Brown on the meeting: "Just opportunity to talk as a group, get some communication and move forward. We've been playing basketball together a long time, especially our core group."

Jaylen Brown said the #Celtics didn’t necessarily need Marcus Smart’s comments but said he’s constantly trying to make himself a better player. pic.twitter.com/ckx2d462yv
