Quarantine Question of the Day: Name a former Celtic who would excel in the modern NBA?
Unfortunately we will have no recaps or Green Envy's for a while, so figured it might be fun and give people a distraction to debate in the comment section on a different question every day while we are stuck in this new normal.
So for the first Quarantine Question of the Day, we have:
Name a former Celtic who would excel in the modern NBA?
Here are the guidelines: I'm looking more for a Most Improved Player award vibe to the answers. Obviously Larry Bird and Bill Russell would excel in today's NBA, as they would in every era. Bird especially, as he could be a small ball 5 pretty often. Think "point center." But anyway I digress. There are no wrong answers, but I'm looking for players that would make a leap, like from fringe NBA player to rotation player. Or from bench player to starter. Or starter to star. Or star to superstar. And by modern NBA, I mean the past few years with all the 3 pointers and stretch big men, etc. You get the idea.
We know who Antoine Walker would choose. Who's your pick (You can have more than one)?
