Celtics' Jay Larrañaga to coach Summer League
We're lucky to still have the guy, to be honest.
Sooner or later, one of the teams that comes knocking about Jay Larrañaga as a potential head coach is going to hire him away from the Boston Celtics, but for now we can enjoy the fact that we're sending such a talented guy to coach our Summer League squads this offseason.
Larrañaga will not be coaching Jayson Tatum or Abdel Nader, as the former is simply too good to have playing meaningless games and the latter will be recovering from wrist surgery, but he'll have a full company of guys either already on the team or trying to make it - as soon as rosters are set, we'll be sure to share that information as well.
