Tatum not the only interesting news out of Summer League

With all the buzz around Jayson Tatum's consistently good play in the Utah Summer League, it's easy to lose sight of the other players on the Boston Celtics' squad.

That's a shame, too,  because Abdel Nader has been tearing it up in Salt Lake City, putting up 17 points on 4-of-8 shooting against the Utah Jazz last night, with solid outings from Semi Ojeleye (six points, six rebounds) and Ante Zizic, who logged nine points and seven boards. Zizic, who had looked a little rusty in his first two outings, seemed to be getting his game legs back after an initial period of adjustment, likely the result of flying halfway around the world in just under a week as much for the challenges of learning a new system with different rules.

It should perhaps be said that even in light of recent Summer League success, Nader is fighting for a spot on Boston's roster, Ojeyele will be lucky to see the level of minutes enjoyed by James Young last year in the coming season (and might not make the regular- season roster, depending on what happens), and Zizic should be looking at something like what Jonas Jerebko managed most of last year. All three of these players could eventually become key parts of the Celts' rotation one day - but that day is still some ways off.
