Celtics cruise past Nets, 120-99


Isaiah Thomas guided the Boston Celtics to an easy win over the Brooklyn Nets, 120-99.



Thomas (19 PTS, 6-for-6 FG) was one of five Celtics to score double digits. Meanwhile Nets' Sean Kilpatrick (15 PTS, 3 REB) and Jeremy Lin (13 PTS, 5 AST) kept Brooklyn afloat. As a team, the C's went 48.8% from the floor, and 36.4% from outside.

James Young (10 PTS, 4 REB, 3 AST) continues to fight for a spot on the roster, and turned more heads:



The rookies also showed off their game. Jalen Brown (12 PTS) and Demetrius Jackson (7 PTS, 3 STL) had solid performances.

This is the last time the Nets and the Celtics meet in the preseason. Next time it will count.
