Around the NBA 11/16: Things Celtics fans should know from the weekend

In addition to the Celtics impressive win over the Thunder this weekend, there were a lot of NBA teams in action this weekend.   Here are 11 things you should know:

1. The Nets gave the Warriors their first real scare of the season on Saturday night, but ultimately lost the game by eight in overtime.  Brooklyn is now 1-9.  The Celtics own the Brooklyn Nets 2016 first-round draft pick.

2. The Timberwolves lost a close one at home to the Grizzlies 114-106 and are now 4-6 on the season.  Minnesota will convey their first-round pick to the Celtics only if it falls between 13-30.  If Minnesota's pick falls between 1-12, they will instead convey their second-round picks in 2016 and 2017.

3. The Mavericks defeated the Rockets on Saturday night 110-98 to move to 6-4 this season.  They did not play last night.  Dallas will convey their first-round pick to the Celtics only if it falls between 8-30.  If Dallas' pick falls between 1-7, the conditional 2016 pick will become a 2017 first-round pick with the same conditions.
