Celtics win? Celtics win! C's beat Pelicans 108-100

Apparently no one let Jared Sullinger know about Anthony Davis.

Sullinger (27 points, 10 rebounds) refused to back down to the highly touted Davis, leading the way and allowing the Celtics to secure the first win of the post-Jeff Green era, defeating the Pelicans 108-100 in a very entertaining game.

Outside of Sullinger, the Celtics also got a career performance out of Jae Crowder (22 points, 4 steals, 2 blocks. 22 points is a career high) and some late-game heroics from rookie Marcus Smart, who had a beautiful floater over Omer Asik in the lane and a big time three from the corner with less than a minute remaining (He also had a pretty awesome over the shoulder pass in the post earlier in the night).

The Pecans might have came up short, but Davis was nothing short of sensational, appearing effortless on his way to 34 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks. It would only appear to be a matter of time until this league is his.
