Blakely: Evan Turner signing to be made official before the start of training camp

On Saturday night CSNNE's A. Sherrod Blakely sent out the following tweet:

Source says #Celtics signing of Evan Turner will be completed/announced before training camp starts on Sept. 30. #Celticstalk

That leaves the Celtics with just over a week to make some sort of move before committing to Turner.  I'm not certain this is something you actually need a source to tell you though; obviously the C's will want Turner to participate in training camp, and he needs a contract in order for that to happen.

I'm hoping Turner's deal is just for one year, or with a team option for a second.  Boston is lined up to have a lot of cap room next summer, and clogging the books with Evan Turner (even if it's only 3 or 4 million) seems like a bad idea.
