MarShon Brooks re-joining Celtics Friday

According to the Boston Herald's Mark Murphy, MarShon Brooks will be rejoining the Celtics on Friday:
In his three games with the Maine Red Claws, Brooks has posted some serious numbers:
GAME 1: 31 MIN, 27 PTS, 9-18 FG, 4 REB, 3 AST, 0 STL, 0 BLK
GAME 2: 39 MIN, 27 PTS, 10-21 FG, 11 REB, 6 AST, 1 STL, 2 BLK
GAME 3: 44 MIN, 36 PTS, 14-28 FG, 6 REB, 5 AST, 5 STL, 3 BLK
Perhaps Brooks is making a case to battle Jerryd Bayless for some of Courtney Lee's vacant minutes. He has played only 61 minutes in 9 games this season. Undoubtedly, it would be nice to see Brooks utilize his outrageous 6'11.5" wingspan and elevate his production in green.
That being said, we can't forget Fab Melo's D-League performances. In the D League the guy could post MONSTER lines, but his NBA career has been underwhelming.
So what do you think?
Has Brooks earned more playing time with the C's?
If you do not think Brooks will help the C's, should they still play him to follow a tanking strategy?
