Pat Riley: "Danny Ainge needs to shut the f**k up and manage his own team"


Well now this is getting good. First Danny Ainge called Lebron James complaining about calls "embarrassing", and then James fired back with "I'm not surprised by anything that comes out of Boston". And now..well now things are getting serious. Pat Riley has fired back, through the media - And he is not pulling any punches. Here's Ethan Skolnik of the Palm Beach Post via twitter.

I'm not going to lie, I love this. I loved Ainge calling Lebron out for whining when James gets more calls than the rest of the league combined. And I love Riley firing back, defending his team against what he feels was an unnecessary attack. My only complaint is that Lebron himself didn't say it. The NBA (and sports in general) needs more hate. They need more rivalries like Celtics/Heat that harken to the old days, where players weren't BFF's who have played together since they were 12 on different AAU teams. The NBA needs more Ainge vs. Riley.
