Celtics Take Down Hawks 118-107

Boston had their highest scoring half of the season with 66 in the 1st 24 minutes, and the followed that up with 52 in the second to win a fast-paced, exciting game. Jeff Green, (27 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast) Paul Pierce (20 points, 10 reb, 10 ast) and Jason Terry (24 pts, 5-7 3-pt shooting) were all exceptional and Brandon Bass kept up his reinvigorated play with 13 points and 3 blocks. Somehow, Shavlik Randolph stole the show with 9 points and THIRTEEN REBOUNDS. "The Freak named Shavlik" was a constant pest getting to tons of loose balls and pulling off an impressive Sullinger impression. I'm also pretty sure he made Tommy Heinsohn jizz in his pants at one point.

Boston led the game the whole way with great passing, 3-point shooting, and stealing, going up by 15 near the end of the 3rd quarter. Atlanta made a run to get it to single digits, but the new Big-3 of Jet, Iron Man, and The Truth held them off to win comfortably. Terrence Williams also displayed his athleticism with two explosive dunks in the open court. Also, Rajon Rondo was back from his "vacation," (aka intense daily rehab) and though we won't get to see him in action til next season, it was great to see him cheering the guys on and happily celebrating the win. All in all, this was a great win for The Celtics, who were all on the same page nearly the whole way to come within a game and a half of the Hawks for the 6th seed in the East.
