I bet you can't guess who tore his ACL this time!

The injuries are getting ridiculous...

We basically already knew this after it happened, but now it's been confirmed somewhat.

Leandro Barbosa tore his ACL.

It's the second ACL tear in just over two weeks as the Celtics lost Rajon Rondo to the same injury (except maybe his was partial!) back on January 25th in a loss to the Hawks.

Kevin Garnett told reporters that Barbosa was out for the year last night, so this is almost just a formality at this point. There was always the off chance that the tests would come back with positive signs. Alas, they didn't.

The injury leaves the Celtics in a bit of a scramble. The once deep Celtics backcourt is down to three players (Courtney Lee, Jason Terry, Avery Bradley). Thankfully the team has the All-Star break fast approaching. That should give them time to sort things out.

The 30 year old Barbosa was signed to a one year deal just before the season started. His future with the team is uncertain.
