The Celtics won't consider adding Delonte West

Shelvin Mack is a player in the Celtics D-League affiliate, Maine Red Claws, and really we should expect him to become a Celtic fairly soon. At least as a stop gap option.

The note on Delonte West is particularly interesting. West appeared on our list of potential fill-ins (A must read) but as noted there, he's had a couple of off-court issues with Dallas. Something that's been a common occurrence nearly everywhere he's been except Boston (except that one time when he fought Von Wafer). However, things got bad enough with the Mavericks that even Boston is staying away.

West was suspended twice within just two weeks during the preseason. Both times for "conduct detrimental to the team". He apparently had an "ugly outburst" following a game the first time. West denied involvement but was released by the Mavericks and has since turned down offers to sign in the D-League.
