The Triple Double King
Rajon Rondo was a man on a mission last night as he powered the C's to a 100-89 win over the Bobcats with 17 points, 10 boards and 12 dimes - his third triple-double of the season and 26th of his career (including playoffs). Rondo's 26 triple-doubles ranks fourth among active players - behind only Jason Kidd (107), LeBron (41) and Grant Hill (29).
At the pace at which RR9's been racking up the numbers, though, he should surpass Hill (and creep up on LeBron) pretty soon. In the last three years alone, Rondo's recorded 12 triple doubles - the most by any player in that period. Truly he is the Triple Double King.
