Melo finished with 15 points, 16 rebounds and 14 blocks. 14! I mean I know it's the NBDL, but Jesus that's impressive. Considering the C's are starting Jason Collins at center in an attempt to go bigger, doesn't Melo have to get some kind of a look? I'm sure he would make mistakes but I repeat - WE'RE STARTING JASON COLLINS!
Why not see if this dude's freakish athletic ability can help on the big club? I say give it a shot - we literally have nothing to lose (besides basketball games - which we've lost a ton of lately anyways).
By the way the Red Claws lost 85-78, if that interests you. Kris Joseph struggled mightily going for 10 points on 3-16 shooting.
