Milwaukee Bucks interested in Mickael Pietrus

IamaGM.com is reporting that the Milwaukee Bucks are currently pursuing free agent Mickael Pietrus. While he was a fan favorite in Boston, the Celtics currently have a 15 man roster (assuming Jeff Green finally gets inked), and even if Dionte Christmas or Jamar Smith are waived, Boston doesn't have the money to adequately compensate Peaches for his talents.

According to Pietrus' agent Bill McCandless, he has spoken with Bucks GM John Hammond and there seems to be mutual interest:

“We talked about 10 to 14 days ago,” McCandless said. “We’re waiting to see what happens. Mickael would be interested in playing for Milwaukee, absolutely.”

As a fan of Mickael Pietrus, his dedication to the Celtics, and his sense of humor, I wish him good luck in Milwaukee or wherever he ends up. I wish we could have kept him just for his personality and what he brought to the team in that respect, but he deserves to be paid more than what the Celtics can afford.

Mickael Pietrus, all day, all night, I love you!
