Steve Nash traded to the Lakers

Love Nash, but the Lakers egg yolk jersey is such an ugly look on him.

Reports out of Phoenix are saying that Nash will be signed and traded to the Lakers for picks. The Lakers have a large trade exception they can send to the Suns from the Lamar Odom trade to the Mavs. We'll add confirmation when we hear more (See below), but this would suck. Not only because it would make the Lakers MUCH better, but because I really like Nash and now I can't root for him. Also would prove once and for all that players don't have the same rivalries with teams as fans do. We might see that ourselves in the coming days if Ray Allen departs for Miami.

Steve Nash on why he chose LA:

"This is a tough business and the only thing constant in life is change...I approached (the Suns owner & GM) & asked if they would be willing to do a sign & trade deal with L.A. because it is very important to me to stay near my children and family.They were very apprehensive and didn't want to do it. Fortunately for me, they reconsidered."

Grant Hill might join Nash in L.A.
